★ “This is definitely a meal you will come back for over and over again.” — Sarah EThis is definitely a meal you will come back for over and over again.
I love this product. I've used both chuck roast and pork shoulder roast. It's amazing! I get people asking me to make it all the time. My kids also love making ramen with the consume. I can't thank you enough for Birria bomb. My family used to only eat birria at celebrations like weddings or quinceaneras. Now, we can have tacos de birria anytime. My wife and kids always get excited when they find out Dad is making birria for dinner.
This bomb was so easy and made cooking Birria tacos a breeze, the flavor was awesome, better than any restaurant, highly recommend!!
Loved it! So easy to use and wonderful flavor!!
Very easy to prepare, it came out fantastic! I loved so much I sent some to my daughter in Virginia, its hard to find spices to make food like SoCal. It was authentic flavoring loved the ease of preparation. Will definitely order more
I love that these are so flavorful and versatile. I've made so many delicious meals with the same bomb but completely different ingredients.
These were amazing. Easy to use nothing to measure

Questions, answered
Do I need a pressure cooker?
No. You can cook it in a pressure cooker, slow cooker or on the stovetop. Sarah used her crock pot with a chuck roast and stock.
How much meat should I use?
Add up to 4 lbs beef chuck, 4 cups water and 1 bomb. Sarah used about four pounds of chuck roast in her video.
What is a Birria Bomb and what meals can I make with it?
A concentrated seasoning bomb that makes authentic birria — tender beef in a rich chile-and-spice consomé — at home in one pot. No toasting whole chiles, no blending, no all-day simmer. Drop it in with beef and water, cook, and shred. Serve it as:
- QuesaBirria tacos, dipped in consomé
- Birria ramen
- Bowls & burritos
- Quesadillas & taquitos
- Breakfast burritos & chilaquiles
Can I make authentic quesabirria tacos with it?
Yes — that’s the classic. Dip a corn tortilla in the consomé, add cheese and birria beef, and crisp it on a hot griddle. Serve with a cup of consomé for dipping.
How do I use it in a slow cooker or crockpot?
Beef, bomb and water in together, high for 6 hours or low for 8, until fork-tender, then shred and stir. Keep the broth — that’s your consomé.
Can I use it in an Instant Pot or pressure cooker?
Yes — cook on high for 1 hr 45 min, natural release, then shred. That’s up to 4 lbs of beef chuck per bomb with 4 cups of water.
What beef (or other proteins) work best?
Beef chuck is the everyday classic — but birria is flexible:
- Beef chuck roast or stew meat (the classic)
- Beef shank or short ribs for a richer consomé
- Goat or lamb (the traditional route)
- Pork shoulder
- Chicken thighs for a lighter version
Is it a good birria sauce or marinade alternative?
Yes — and it’s easier, because it builds the consomé as it cooks. The concentrated dried-chile base coats and infuses the beef for deep flavor with none of the toasting or blending:
- No toasting or rehydrating whole chiles
- No blender
- Just add beef, water and the bomb
- A rich, dip-ready consomé in one cook 🌶️✨
