Instructions:
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground turkey and cook, breaking it into small pieces, until it reaches 165°F.
- Add one Taco Seasoning Bomb and 1/2 cup water to the cooked turkey. Stir until the Bomb is fully incorporated.
- Reduce the heat, cover, and simmer until the liquid cooks down and the turkey is evenly coated. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
- Place each prepared tortilla-shell bowl on a serving plate.
- Add warm rice to the tortilla bowl, followed by warmed pinto beans and then the seasoned ground turkey.
- Continue the assembly with cilantro, pickled red onions, pickled jalapenos, and crumbled queso fresco, in that order.
-
Finish with a drizzle of sour cream and serve immediately.
Recipe Notes
- The seasoning ratio is one Taco Seasoning Bomb and 1/2 cup water for one pound of ground turkey.
- The tortilla-shell bowl may be prepared with the approved kitchen method before assembly.
- Preserve the assembly order: rice, pinto beans, seasoned ground turkey, cilantro, pickled red onions, pickled jalapenos, queso fresco, and sour cream.
- Topping quantities can be adjusted to the number of bowls being served.
